Owen Security Solutions Makes Series of Acquisitions to Enter Southern Calif.

ATLANTA — Alarm company Owen Security Solutions Inc., SSI’s 2019 Small Installer of the Year, recently announced three Los Angeles-based acquisitions that helped the company grow into southern California.

Owen acquired Leading Edge Sound & Security, Swat Security and Beacon Security, all of which are based in the greater Los Angeles market. With this venture into the new market, Owen Security has
rebranded in California as Owen Smart Video Solutions Inc. in a move the company says will help it “best cater and serve the clients and continued growth in the region.”

Owen Smart Video “will bring cutting edge technology to 1,500+ mostly commercial clients in greater L.A.,” according to the company announcement.

“Beacon Security selected Owen after a very long search due to alignment with the same core values of taking care of the client first,” says California Alarm Association board member and Orange County Chapter president Elizabeth Courtney in the company announcement.

“After 37 years of relationships, it was important to find a company who would continue to value that,” she says.

“We are excited to venture into this new market with a concentrated focus on robust video solutions for these customers and future clients,” says Justin Owen, CEO of Owen Security Solutions, in the company announcement.
